→ I finally watched Kung Fu Panda 2 the other day, and I liked it just as much as the first one, which is a lot. ♥ What I liked best, without going into spoilers, is that it builds on existing character development instead of making everyone forget what they learned to rehash the previous movie (which happens all too often). This is how you make a good sequel! =D

→ Speaking of watching things late, I really should catch up with season 4 of Merlin. And everything after season 1 of Generator Rex.

→ I miss Thundercats and there's still no news about when we'll get new episodes. =(

→ NEW TRANSFORMERS: PRIME IN TWO WEEKS OMG OMG

So, X-Men: First Class. It was fun! I liked it more than the other X-Men movies, but I don't know if it's better or if it's just my WISE OLD MENTOR BACKSTORY thing again.

That said, I feel it's my duty to make an oh so tiny clarification:

I'm really, really bad at picking favourites, so I'll just leave it at "five awesome female characters of colour, in no particular order" instead. And even so it was hard to pick. I mean, I could mention more than five from A:tLA alone. :P But I tried to go for different fandoms.

Soooo it's been a while since I had one of those silly dreams with random fictional characters. Apparently my brain decided to compensate for all that lost time last night. o.O

I don't remember details (which is a pity, because I'm pretty sure the dream had a plot and everything), but the gist of the issue? The G1 versions of Starscream, Soundwave and Shockwave tried to take over Sumdac Tower. Sari was around, but not the Autobots - but that's okay! Because Megamind and Roxanne saved the day!

... yeeeeah I don't even know. The only other thing I remember is that it involved SCIENCE!!1! and weird inventions on all sides, so at least they were IC, I guess. |D

Oh well. Crossovers aside, it's still less ridiculous than some canon G1 plots, anyway. :P (Hey guys, let's TAKE OVER NEW YORK and make some BATTLE TAXIS and rebuild Prime into a SEWER ALLIGATOR!)

So. Yeah. I don't know if my subconscious is trying to tell me "STOP WITH THE CROSSOVERS ALREADY" or "WRITE MOAR". >.>

I watched Inception last night, and really liked it. I think the media (at least here) exaggerated about how ~incredibly brainbreaking~ it is, but I do think it was very clever. And everyone acts so well, too.

I've just watched Toy Story 3.

I'm not going to be very coherent about it, but 1) I loved it with all my heart and 2) I cried like a baby. Oh, Pixar, you always know how to bring the happy tears.

... if I were in Buenos Aires now I'd be giving my plush dragon a gigantic hug. Just sayin'.

Short version: I LOVED IT. ♥ Yes it was silly, yes it has flaws, I could definitely live without some of the, uh, 'humour', but it was exactly what I expected. So there. :P
