SCARIEST MEGATRON EVER BTW. Because TFA!Megs also went for the "just shoot him" route, yes, but he was... a lot quicker about it. (TFA had a completely different tone, too.) This guy is G1!Megs with 1)a brain, and 2)continuity.

Also I wonder if Miko is FINALLY going to realize she keeps getting people in trouble. I like her, mind you, and her heart's in the right place, but the writers could hurry a bit with her development.

Okay, I have to ask - are you actually watching the show, or are you just basing that on my posts/fandom's reaction? Because I sort of want to defend Miko from my own comments now. You know I don't have any problem pointing out problematic stuff in what I watch (I've been ranting about TFA's treatment of female characters for a while now), but I really don't think that applies to Miko.

I mean, she's not "the annoying one". She's just as much of a round, developed character as Jack is, and a lot more than Raf. And her getting into trouble is clearly part of her character arc, that's been obvious for a while now; the only thing I'm complaining about here is the pacing. In fact, she got a huge reality check in this episode, so chances are we're going to see a change pretty soon. (Again, to compare with the boys: Jack only got his development two episodes ago, Raf has been a static character so far.)

As for fandom's general reaction to her, well... TF fandom has a history of hating female and/or human characters just for existing. :| Sari used to get a ridiculous amount of hate too.

Yeah, it's just on the fandom and your reactions. And even though she's meant to have character development, it still rankles a bit that one of the boys can't be the one to get everyone in trouble and endanger the team. Miko's going to get hate just for being female and/or human, it really doesn't help that the fandom can also easily blame her for everything that goes wrong. It makes me not want to watch the show, knowing that the character I'm most likely to relate to is unpopular for not entirely unjustified reasons.

TFA Megs was more suave/poetic when killing you. TFP just wants to inform you that you're going to die, no way around it.

I just LOVED Megs/Jack interaction. Megs (and his wondering evil eyes) are just looking back like: ok, either drill a hole in my forehead or go away. Jack has had the most "well fuck my life" moment he'll ever have in his existence (while his face glows red with decepticon eye light LOL eviiiiiiil)

I don't like Miko, she's a bother. Sari had the tiny voice but was way more mature and didn't go getting everyone on trouble (until she became Sari-Su that is, then she became unbearable)

And amazing voice acting! The moment when Arcee is about to shoot him and he goes all "... awww" is amazing XD

Besides, TFA Megs just said, okay, you're a traitor so I'll kill you. Prime!Megs lets you fail a lot more for his own amusement!

Also, Sari was... what, eight? It's more believable that she doesn't think of the danger.
