I would like to say that I don't waste time and energy hating characters, but that'd be a lie. I cannot stand Saint Seiya, not since I was a kid, and from all the people in it Shiryu was the one I hated the most. DX I'm not sure why him, precisely. It might have to do with the fact that he was the Dragon saint, I love dragons and YOU ARE NOT WORTHY. SO NOT WORTHY.

I considered it! XD But then I realized that, well, the reason I hate Kimblee so much is that he's really well written and that's the reaction I'm supposed to get.

Dunno, Rowling wanted people to hate Snape and a lot of people loved him. Tastes are a weird thing.

I don't think Kurumada can write any sympathetic character we can root for for his life fffff. And I'm surprised CLAMP never came up with a character who could regenerate their eyes/sight so they're able to blind them like one million times.

The thing with Snape is that for some reason he attracts a lot of idiots who can't separate "good character" from "good person". I mean, it happens everywhere but I've never seen the amounts of crazy that formed around Snape. I'm still wondering how on earth did that happen.

To be fair some people do love their bastard characters. But yeaaaaaaah, the woobiefication and denial with this one is astonishing.

I know! It's like, for every person who likes Snape as the bastard he is there's a hundred who think he's the nicest woobie ever. It's brain-breaking. O___O

They also tend to take over the mainstream comms, because the sane fans find that it's easier to make a new comm and weed out the crazies than fight for the old one once the crazies move in and start shouting down everyone else.

I can't either, but I'm still fondly amused by it because it's so ridiculously melodramatic. Damnit I love ridiculously melodramatic shows. Probably why I do love CLAMP... and Code Geass XD
