... so, a few days ago I was joking that I might write a post about how Starscream and Skyfire's story would have been like if they were CLAMP characters. But then I saw the actual latest CLAMP chapters and it immediately stopped being funny. Siiiiigh.

Hint: if an underdeveloped side character from an '80s cartoon made solely to sell toys has more common sense than all your Tragic Heroes put together, YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG.

You know how Watanuki spent all the series learning to let himself be close to other people, not make stupid sacrifices just for the sake of it, and live his life? And how Yuuko wished that Watanuki could live?

Well. True to CLAMP's ways, the idiot has gone and decided that he's going to "wait for Yuuko". That means "locking himself up in the shop for the rest of his life". Yeah. Waaaay smart of you.

I mean, even if his friends convince him otherwise and it doesn't end like that? WAY TO IGNORE ALL CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT UP TO THIS POINT, CLAMP.
