Doctor Who 4x13
I actually watched this yesterday, but we lost electricity for the rest of the day. I'm lucky I had enough battery to finish watching... :/
- Most anticlimactic beginning EVER.
- Soooo... did Rusty and Ohkawa get together to have a smoke or something? LOLZ LETS'S COLLAPSE THE MULTIVERSE WHILE I'M LOOKING FOR MY ONE TWU WUB.
- But Jackie and Mickey still win. ♥
- Why wouldn't Jack want to hug Donna? Donna deserves a hug, dammit!
- ... so, you thought JKR was heavy-handed? Here, have some German-speaking Daleks!
- I am so, so happy that the Doctor didn't forget about Donna when he was with Rose and Jack. I was kind of worried that she'd get treated as second best, so I'm glad they didn't go that way.
- I can't believe the "and there are two Doctors running around" thing was true.
- I forgot Rose doesn't know Jack can come back! :O
- I kind of like the Donna-sounding Doctor. But if he had to point out the "part Time Lord, part human" thing, does that mean he wasn't before? I guess Eight's infamous "half human" line shouldn't be taken seriously after all? Why am I even worrying about continuity by now?
- I still understand German! Well, German as spoken by foreigners, at least.
- I usually don't go looking for racial stuff, buuut... the Osterhagen Key thing was a bit "let's send the minorities to destroy the world", wasn't it?
- That said, the bit with everyone on the screens was kind of awesome. :D And I like Rose again, whch makes last week even more WTF, but oh well. Also, I need to watch more Old School!Sarah Jane.
- One thing I really, REALLY don't like from New Who is how it's always "dying for the Doctor" and not "dying to SAVE THE FUCKING WORLD". Which is what all those people did, dammit. They SAVED WORLDS.
- DOCTORDONNA! Of all the theories out there, I dind't see that one coming. Explains the "threefold man" thing too. Good job.
- Why does he keep inviting bad guys? WHY?

- Why do they notice Earth's moving across the universe? Why do I even bother asking?
- If Martha leaves UNIT for Torchwood I will KICK SOMETHING.
- Please be awesome, Mickey. Be AWESOME. You're made of win. I hope they made you stay so they can BRING YOU BACK MORE OFTEN.
- Confirmed: RUSTY AND OHKAWA GOT TOGETHER FOR A SMOKE. Hi Rose, have this handy clone and run off to a parallel universe! XD Oddly enough... I didn't really mind! Good ending, and nice way to get rid of The Rose Issue. I don't even care that it was total wish fulfillment on Rusty's part.
- I want to take the ending and KILL IT WITH FIRE. Yes, I know Catherine Tate only signed for one season, but couldn't they think of a way for Donna to leave that didn't waste all her awesomeness and development? Dammit, people.
- Still, I liked it overall. It was better than last week's for sure! And I was expecting a Big Reset Button and/or a laaame ending like last year, which didn't happen. So except for what they did to Donna, I won't complain too much.
- And the Doctor needs to get a dog again.

Oh and I agree the Osterhagen Key did end up being a bit zomg black people can kill the planet, but I was mostly amused that about seven different plans to stop Davros all came crashing down in the space of about two minutes. Crack!
Poor Donna and Rose - I think Donna got screwed over worse, but they really didn't give Rose any respect this last ep either. She did nothing, then gets told that everything she's ever done is actually about wanting to shag the Doctor. Oh dear.
