CLAMP rambling and Doctor Who 4x05
I don't know if these Tsubasa spoilers are true or not, but if they are, that's even more stupid than anything I ever expected. A lot of people in that thread posted reasons why it wouldn't make any sense and I agree with all of them, but, well. It's CLAMP. I wouldn't put it past them to pull off something this stupid. Then again, if they can screw up their own canon, so can I! :D So if these spoilers turns out to be the real thing, my new philosophy for CLAMP fanfic will be "Let's pick the bits of canon I like and ignore the rest. IT'S WHAT THE PROS DO!"
... anyway. Yeah. Who.
- It was predictable and a little slow, but overall fun. And I liked it better than the previous one, including the unintentionally funny bits.
- I miss the Brig too, Doctor! I've only seen him twice and I miss him anyway! But I'm glad he got some lovin'. Although it's always a bit weird to see South America as "somewhere very far away"...
- Speaking of that, according to UNIT's map there are no cars at all south of Buenos Aires. Okay!
- Donna is made of awesome. But we know that.
- So they did kill Ross after all... But UNIT as a whole got some love, and that's a good thing. For a moment I thought "but the Valiant is just moving the gas somewhere else", but that was quickly replaced with "this is Who and there's no point in using logic". Which is the reason why the igniting the atmosphere thing didn't bother me either.
- My favourite part was Martha's line about how being away made her better. Finally! Especially because one of my main problems with last week's episode was the whole "the Doctor is bad for you" thing. So, YAY for the Doctor as a good influence! And YAY for the Doctor finally thanking Martha, because really, it was about time.

Re: Tsubasa spoilers: oh dear god I hope not. That's just too many nonsensical cliches in one "plot twist".

What I hate about the spoilers is that if they're true, then they're completely destroying CCS canon.

On Doctor Who...when Donna was watching the broadcast of the Doctor and the Sontarons, did you see that flash of Rose's face? I swear it was there.

Y sobre CLAMP, ¿ABBA o Miranda!?
