Characters: Kurogane, Fye and Mokona
Pairings: Well, nothing happens, but...
Summary: Mokona drops Sakura and Shaoran separated from the rest and stays with Fye and Kurogane. Who is Not Happy about it.
Notes: Um, it's kind of inspired by this. Don't ask.
"How come I always get stuck with you two?" Kurogane barked when he realized that, once again, they'd just arrived to a brand new world and the two kids were nowhere to be seen. "Are you doing it on purpose, you meatbun?"
"Mokona is completely innocent!" it claimed from the top of Fye's head.
"You can't be 'completely innocent' six times on a row!"
"Now, now, Kuro-pii is being irrational," Fye intervened, with that annoying sing-song voice of his. "Didn't the witch say that Mokona travelled through the worlds at random?"
"That's another story. I know it could make us all fall in the same place if it wanted to."
The meatbun started whistling innocently. Kurogane grabbed it by the ears and gave it quite a shake.
"Spit it out, now! Why are you doing this?"
Mokona, who didn't seem in the least upset, had a very clear answer for that.
"Kuro-chan is funny when he's angry!"
"WHAAAT???"
"Ahaha, Mokona knows where to get his fun!" Fye managed to say in between fits of laughter. Kurogane stopped shaking the meatbun and glared at his other companion.
"What are you saying now?" he barked.
"Well, you are funny, Kuro-woofie."
"Let's see if you still find this funny once I beat you up."
"You can't beat me up. I'm a wizard."
"That doesn't mean anything. What kind of wizard never uses magic, anyway?"
"Ah, a very special one, my friend. I'm..." he looked around, as if searching for an idea, and finally his eyes lit up "...a ninja wizard!"
To Kurogane's horror, he then proceeded to make a ridiculously bad imitation of the warrior's moves.
"Aaargh, stop that! You're not a ninja!"
"I never said I was. I'm a ninja wizard!" Fye chanted, still dancing around and shouting stupid 'battle cries', all graced by Mokona's cheerful clapping.
"The only thing you are," Kurogane said through gritted teeth, "is crazy."
"Kuro-chan says it as if it's a bad thing!" Mokona chimed in.
"Shut up, you meatbun!" he shouted. "Shouldn't you be stopping him? It's your job to help those kids."
"Oh no, that's only a part of it. Mokona has many secret missions."
"Really?" asked Fye, suddenly interested. "Like what?"
"Like driving me insane," Kurogane muttered.
"Oh, no, Kuro-pii," the wizard said with a bright smile. "That's my mission."
