White Night!

I promised spam, bear with me. :P

I LOVED IT, but that goes without saying. So let's focus on less general stuff.

→ First of all: I have to admit that Elaine earned a lot of respect from me in this book. I still stand by what I said about her in Summer Knight, mind you; she wasn't the smartest there. But time passed and she grew a lot and learned, and now? SHE'S ACTUALLY AWESOME. And not only because of her talent. She goes out of her way to use her powers for good and she helps people and tries so hard and oh, Elaine, I kind of love you a lot now.

I do think that hiding from the Council is dangerous and might come back to bite her in the ass, but... well, it's understandable why she does it, and her reasons are much better than the "reasons" most stupid wizards have to keep their secrets. What can I say, it sort of comes with the job. :P

→ THE RESOLUTION TO LASHIEL'S ARC I JUST ALDKFAÑLKFJALÑKJFASKLFJAKLF ♥ A fallen angel's shadow actually managed to get redeemed. These books *_______* Harry's idea about how Lash had changed enough that she could make her own choices tells me two things about him: that he's really really smart and great at thinking outside the box, and that he's a lot less cynical than he thinks he is. :P

And I'm so glad it worked, even if Redemption Equals Death. Still better than being evil and alone forever. I'm still not sure if Lashiel's coin won't come back to annoy everyone again, but... I'm loving this. A lot.

→ MOLLYYYYY. I love Molly with all my heart. ♥ She still has a lot to learn but she tries so hard to be good and help, and her heart is in the right place. And her reasoning near the end of the book about why she needed to help was wonderful and oh, Molly, I seriously love you so much.

→ Murphy was all kinds of awesome in this book. I mean, she always is, but... wooooow. I LOVE YOU MURPHY. ♥♥♥ You go on rocking and saving the world, Sargent *_*

I mean, look at how stuff worked out for her in the last book, and... she's still there, still doing her best, still helping no matter what it might cost her. That is one amazingly brave person right there.

→ Thomas, I LOVE YOU. SO MUCH. I knew you couldn't be actually hurting those people ;3; And his solution for the feeding problem! WHY DID YOU HIDE IT FOR SO LONG, YOU IDIOT |D

→ JUSTINE IS COHERENT WHAT HOW I NEED ANSWERS. /tries not to get her hopes up sob these books

→ I'm reading slowly, so it took me a while to remember who Helen Beckett was. And at first I thought it was just a random character return, and then NOPE IT TIES IN WITH THAT GIRL FROM DEATH MASKS and I was all... oooooh Uncle Jim you sneaky bastard! =OOO

→ Speaking of that whole mess. I love Marcone a looooot more than I should |DDD I mean. He doesn't exactly have redeeming qualities, you know? He's awesome, but very much a bastard. AND HE MAKES ME SQUEE LIKE A TEENAGE GIRL it's kind of embarrassing. |D But I just. Can't help it.

Also THE PLOT THICKENS! A lot!

→ I don't think I've already mentioned my love for Ramírez, have I? :o And he was especially awesome in this book. Being young and full of ego doesn't stop him from having one amazing brain. =D I love my smart cocky wizards, I really do.

→ LARA YOU CREEPY, SNEAKY MASTERMIND. That was scary. DDD=

... and as usual, I'm probably forgetting stuff but that's what the comments are for.
