Drabble Meme #2 [Multifandom; English]
(Chiharu/Yamazaki, Eriol, HOLiC references)
"... and then the hand grabbed that kid's meal and took it underground!"
Chiharu gave her boyfriend a meaningful look.
"Have you been writing to Hiiragizawa again, Yamazaki?"
"Of course! He's my friend, you know," he said. "But I didn't get that story from him."
"It's just not your style," she insisted. "A kitsune selling ramen, maybe... but this?"
"You have so little trust in me, Chiharu," he complained, pretending to be hurt. "You didn't believe me when I told you about mirror listening, either."
"You see? You're getting far-fetched!"
"It's all true!" he exclaimed.
"Right," sighed Chiharu. "And I suppose that if I clip my toenails at night, a monster will come and eat me."
"Well, actually..."

"If you could come in," she said, "it's because you need something."
"Well," he admitted, "I don't exactly need it, but... I'm not quite as creative as I used to be."
She sat up, interested.
"Really?"
"When I was younger," he continued, "I made up the best stories. It was easy. But now, I'm having trouble. My girlfriend says it's the stress from high school."
The witch smiled.
"I can help you," she assured. "But you must give me something in exchange."
"What?" he asked, confused.
"Stories for stories," she replied. "Just keep me updated about that penfriend of yours."

(Kurogane/Tomoyo)
When he returns to his world, he discovers that she has grown. Not much; just one or two years. But it still surprises him.
It is too easy to lose track of time, when you keep jumping from one dimension to another, never staying for long. He suddenly finds out that he expected her to look exactly like she did when he left.
When she sent him away, he thinks, but there's no grudge in him. He understands, now.
He deserves her now.
"Welcome, back, Kurogane," she says, and she smiles at him.
And with that, he is finally home.

So this was it. Yuuko was a little disappointed. She'd heard he was really handsome...
Well, he was good looking, actually, in an "older gentleman" sort of way. But she would have liked to see him when he was still young.
Didn't Jedi know how to keep their bodies from aging?
Then again, they probably just didn't care. Or they believed it would disturb the balance of the Force. Jedi were wary of messing with those things, she thought, and chuckled.
She just knew that, if there ever was a Clow in this universe, he was most certainly a Sith.

(Slughorn)
He was used to having gifted students, but these first years were impressive even for his standards. It was unusual to have so many potential talents in just one class.
Snape, for example. There was no doubt that he would excel at Potions. The Evans girl showed a lot of promise, too. Potter and Black, although they weren't quite as good as the other two and certainly not as focused, seemed to have a talent for anything.
Of course, as in every class, there were the average students... and the disastrous ones, he thought, looking at the Gryffindors.
"Don't worry, Mr Lupin," he said. "I'm sure your cauldron won't melt next time."
Considering the next potion he planned to assign them, chances were it'd explode.
